from inspiration to reality

i'm 100% in love with this color scheme.

i'm going to do everything in my power to make my birthday party look at least half as cute as this little shindig did.

Ice cream sandwiches

since my birthday and my visit with my little buddy are on the same day next week, i want to make some mini homemade ice cream sandwiches for her and her class.

i'll be the belle of the 4th grade ball.

when i was younger, my family stayed with my grandparents for a few weeks every summer and i loved it-- so many of my major childhood accomplishments happened on penn lane. i remember always going to the moore public library with my grandma and this movie was rented every time, without fail.

it's entertaining and carole king's music is wonderful. i recommend the entire "really rosie" album to everyone. everyone!
